The goal of our "Selection and Engagement Process" is to ensure that our Brand will bring value through our international channels. We want to build strong and lasting relationships with partners that have a high level of commitment to building a successful business.

Step 1: Introduction and Application

What you need to do: If you want to represent Maxidor in your area, apply and complete the on-line application form. Please see the link above called application form.

What Maxidor will do:

• You will receive an receipt of your application.
• Maxidor will identify and analyse the potential of your application.
• If your application is not successful, you will be notified by email.
• If you application is approved, you will be notified by email and you will be asked to complete a Letter of Intend

Step 2: Approval and Log-in

What you need to do: Complete Letter of Intent.

What Maxidor will do:

• Upon receipt of Letter of Intent we will send to you via email log-in details to invite you to the next stage of our selection process.
• Use the log in details that are sent to you to log into the website
• This website will assist you in your own research and deeper understanding of this great business opportunity
• You will have to login within 2 weeks of receiving the code

Step 3: Engagement Process

What you need to do:

• You need to do your due diligence.
• Our depth of experience becomes available to you and we will provide tools for the preliminary stages of the franchise agreement.
• You will now have access to comprehensive information to assist you in market and feasibility study.

What Maxidor will do:

• When you have considered every aspect of running a successful franchise, forward your on-line business plan which will be assessed.
• A telephonic / Skype meeting will take place to finalise any issues

Step 4: Commitment Process

What you need to do:

• Your investment stage where we finalise your infrastructure requirement, sub-assembly plant, equipment, staff and much more as well as a stock value to equip your start-up operation.

What Maxidor will do:

• Maxidor has already spent considerable resources developing the infrastructure, product and business plan for your successful franchise.
• When your commitment is received, we will finalise all the legal documentation.

Step 5: Contracts and Activation

What you need to do:

• Final stage of administration. The signing all of the legal documents as required.

What Maxidor will do:

• Activation of the Franchise
• You will receive your personal and unique Maxidor Franchise registration code which will allow you to place all your orders and work on your particular account on-line.
• Looking forward to a prosperous and mutually beneficial relationship.

What was your background before joining Maxidor?

Before Maxidor I had pursued a career in accountancy with Ernst and Young but decided that sitting behind a desk looking at figures was not the way for me. I went on to open my own business in fire protection and we grew to become the largest supplier of fire extinguishers in Zimbabwe within a few short years. After selling the business to Chubb fire I decided to look for something new and challenging.

Why did you choose Maxidor as a business opportunity

I was visiting my father in Cape Town (RSA) and he suggested we should go and have a look at the Maxidor franchise that existed at the time in Cape Town. Maxidor - The product range

Maxidor's technical research and development team has devised a system of lattices and components to facilitate the ordering, transportation and assembly of our renowned security barriers. This formula will provide to the serious business man the tools to establish the "Sub-Assembly Plant Model quickly and successfully.

Maxidor currently has the following products available in lattice and components format.

Roller shutters can be purchased in a variety of sizes and types, but are not available in sub-assembled format.

Maxidor has 3 models to best suit your individual needs.

Model 1: SUB-ASSEMBLY PLANT

A Sub-Assembly will buy components from us directly and assemble the Maxidor range at their premise. A Maxidor Sub-Assembly Franchise will furthermore have the authority to employ lifestyle agents, agents and consultants selling for them.

This is Maxidors preferred model, as it offers you:

• Quick turnaround time
• Short delivery period
• Lower material costs
• Higher profit margins
• More independence
• Strong support structure from Head Office

What would you need?

• Factory or sub-assembly plant (minimum 600 square meters up to 2500 Square meters)
• Infrastructure to assemble the final product from components ordered through container shipment
• Machinery and racks (this can be purchased through the franchising package)
• Full complement of sales, assembly and installation personnel to handle the 3 organisational departments
• Admin offices and show room
• Initial stock order to the value of ZAR 2,500,000.00 (including machinery and racks)

Model 2: FRANCHISE

The Maxidor Franchises operate from a shop and only sell Maxidor products, which are fully made up to customer sizes from our HQ factory.

The Maxidor Franchise Model is ideal for you, if:

• You want the benefit of a franchise without the investment of a manufacturing plant
• You only want to focus on one company brand/ product

The Franchise Business model allows you to:

• Place orders from HQ for pre-assembled products
• Receive discounted rates for products and components
• Increase your delivery period from that of an Agent
• Benefit from a strong support structure at Head Office

What are the guidelines?

• You will be limited to ONE quality expandable security door product from Maxidor, the MXM.
• The Maxidor MXM will be delivered to you fully assembled upon your placement of the order.
• You will be entitled to a "Franchise Price List" which is a discounted rate from list price
• The Maxidor franchise will have to be your sole business
• This model will attract higher transportation cost (one order at a time), higher customs duty fees and longer delivery period

What would you need?

• Offices for sales and administrative support personnel
• A show room for product displays
• Warehousing space to receive and hold assembled products
• Installation team (s)

Model 3: AGENCY

Maxidor Agents operate from a shop but sell many different home-improvement products. They buy Maxidors fully made up to customer sizes from our HQ factory.

The Maxidor Agency Model is ideal for you, if:

• You want the opportunity to sell the Maxidor product range over and above products of any other nature (for example: locks, alarm systems, and so forth)
• A longer delivery period is not of high concern

This model provides you with:

• The freedom of stocking multiple products
• The security of receiving pre-assembled products
• A strong support structure from Head Office

What would you need?

• Offices for sales and administrative support personnel
• A show room for product displays
• Installation team (s)
