If you have completed your "Security Risk Profile" it will be clear that a full house security assessment will educate you to your internal and external risk factors.
Total security is only achieved when you secure all your doors and windows. Anything else is a compromise!
At Maxidor, we understand that a full house security application can be costly. This is why we have developed the:
Physical Security Installation Phases
Our customised installation phases allow you to secure your home in progressive stages, starting with your most vulnerable areas.

Ask yourself: What do you want to protect most: lives or possessions?

Once your most vulnerable areas have been secured in phases, it is time to secure the rest of your house.
Remember: Total security is only achieved when you secure all your doors and windows. Anything else is a compromise!
Did you know: Most would-be intruders are more likely to avoid a property that seems difficult to break into?
This is why, at Maxidor, we will provide you with at least one "Protected By" board that can be visibly displayed on your perimeter wall or fence to allude to possible burglars that your house is fully secured by Maxidor.
Important Notice: You might ask yourself: What happens in the case of a fire? Maxidor has the answer. Please click here for more information. click here for the answer!
That is true. With enough time and the right tools, an intruder can break through anything. We are of the opinion that our products are the strongest that you will find commercially for your money. In the unlikely event of an intrusion we will Buy-Back the product broken through. We are so confident that our products will withstand the onslaught of an ill-minded attack that we are willing to replace, repair or refund any product that has not lived up to this expectation. Please refer to our "NO catch" Buy-Back Guarantee terms and conditions.
Contrary to what many people believe, these products are not all the same.
There are clear differences:
Maxidor Square Tubing vs U-Channel Tubing
Maxidor is the only company in our industry that is a member of the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority. (PSIRA)
We are still the only company that will Buy-Back any of our products broken through!
Nylon components between all "metal-on-metal" moving parts, ensure smooth operation and product longevity.
Maxidor Strong Flights prevent easy access through bracing connectors.
Maxidor Anti-Trip Bottom Track
Slamlock by default
Maxidors are Uncluttered vs Cluttered Doors
Maxidor is the only company in our industry that will service your doors, once a year, for five years, free of charge!
Contrary to what most people believe, all these products are NOT the same. For example the Buy-Back Guarantee is unique to Maxidor and is the ultimate product quality guarantee. This means the use of superior material to make sure the products are not breached. This is a clear differentiation and proof that all these products are not the same. Your Maxidor consultant will show you why so many people have decided to change to Maxidor, during his presentation.
You will be happy to know that Maxidor charges an honest price. Maxidor does not overcharge in order to give a fake discount. All our valued customers benefit from the same fair price, which contributes to a sound relationship built on trust!
To clarify, Maxidor is not in the business of 'buying back' our products. We are in the business of protecting lives! Our products are the strongest that you will find commercially for your money. That is why we can confidently offer the Buy-Back Guarantee, as opposed to other companies that will commit commercial suicide if they dared to offer the same guarantee. In the unlikely event of an intrusion we offer the MAXI Buy-Back guarantee. We are so confident that our products will withstand the onslaught of an ill-minded attack that we are willing to replace, repair or refund any product that has not lived up to this expectation. It stands to reason that we would be out of business very soon, if we were paying out hundreds of 'Buy-Back Guarantee' claims. For further peace of mind, please refer to our "NO catch" Buy-Back Guarantee terms and conditions.
According to a leading insurance company, the most common tool used to break through expandable doors, is a bolt-cutter applied to the bracing-connectors. Second most common tool used is a spade, which is used to attack the bracing-connectors. Ask your Maxidor consultant to do the bolt-cutter test with you. You will be amazed at the results!
… Our mission statement clearly states that we aim to provide the “best possible security to as many families, individuals and groups as possible” This is why we offer our clients various customised solutions so that they may have the best product at the best deal.
The first is our unique “Installation Phases” system that identifies immediate areas of weakness in your security.
The second solution is in the form of the latest addition to our product range: The Maxidor Sahara
Because we understand the importance of offering our clients the best product at the best deal, we have specifically designed the Sahara product to fulfil the need of those clients that cannot necessarily afford our product range, but do not want to compromise on quality.
Our Sahara offers superior, industrial strength at the best deal, but works slightly differently to the industry standard. For more information on the Maxidor Sahara, please contact us now.
The Slamlock feature is often discouraged by other companies in this industry. Mainly due to the patent Maxidor holds.
We hope you will never need to use the Slamlock feature for the main purpose it was designed: To instantly protect you from an assailant.
We have no doubt that you will be very happy when you have Slamlock in the event that you need it as we have many reported cases where the Slamlock literally saved people's lives.
Please have a look at our video testimonials where a Maxidor Slamlock has saved lives.
However, a simple key discipline can easily avoid you from being locked out by your child. We are sure that you would agree that the potentially life-saving benefit far outweighs any perceived inconvenience.
In 2005 an independent body linked to SAIA (South African Insurance Association), namely 'SAIA- approved' conducted product testing on fixed and expandable security barriers across our industry. Each door was rated according to the results of a series of 'attack' tests. The highest rating was termed A-grade. Maxidor achieved an A-grade on both D12 and MXM products. In 2007 the SAIA grading system was discontinued, and is not applicable any more. Since then we have not made any changes that would diminish the strength of the graded products. Since the grading body of SAIA does not exist anymore, some companies have decreased the quality of their products, and still lay claim to their A-grade status.
We would like to state that although we have maintained the SAIA standard, it does not exist anymore and any company claiming to have an A-Grade product is using an out-dated standard that has not been officially verified by an independent body since 2007.
We suggest you use the following checklist when determining the suitability of a service provider:
There are many smaller "fly by night" companies in this industry. Even though you might be tempted by a lower price, be careful! There are too many reported cases where smaller companies receive your deposit and no service is provided. Unfortunately some companies don't stand the test of time, and therefore can't be relied on for future promises and commitments.
Maxidor offers two different guarantees for your piece of mind:
No manufacturer in this industry can guarantee that their product will not rust. Unfortunately at the coast, most components manufactured from steel will eventually rust.
There are a number of things you can do to prevent this by following a few precautionary steps:
Please note that any product installed very close to the sea (less than 1 km) will show a higher propensity to rust. Maxidor uses the same technology as the motor vehicle industry. Our treatment processes have proved to be astonishingly successful.
